Right now I'm building this site and finding a new way of working.
Drawing every day making one small piece at a time — getting to know the materials, working out what I like and trying things.

There's a freedom in this that I haven't felt before. It takes me back to how I first learned to design and make things — ideas worked out in a paper notebook and one's head. No easy delete button, limited tools and materials. The mistakes stay, and sometimes the workaround is where the most interesting things are found.

I'm enjoying the limits of working with a small tool kit — I'll likely want to add more at some point, but for now it's so free to have all I need in a few boxes.
